its nice to see how beautiful game is but reality is its all about physics and what game feels to play like wheel and its everything in rally game its not matter how good are graphics and that is all what you see on videos.but because marketing go over players we dont get beta. iam happy if i get even 1 track and 1 car to try game but no media and creators get it next week and i allready purchased and paid full price on steam or what ever it cost with loyalty sale.but anyway thats marketing is acceptable but when it comes to media and creators who maybe like rally games and make 30 min video in 3 weeks early.they can play game as much they want. not fair to us who are real fan.we are actually those players who support game with money not these media who make as i said 30 min video and off course is so hyped.but because business is gone this point this means we normal players means nothing to big publishers even we pay and want support these games.and if it is just for money i can pay extra money that i can play early.
- ScarDuck142 years agoLegend@poju123 Totally agree it’s the physics that matter. I’m from the F1 boards and yes game has big issues and everyone who bought it has genuine arguments for wanting the game to be much better. But I’m so get over people being enraged because Hamiltons gloves are a different shade. Or at turn 1 at such and such a track there’s a fence panel that doesn’t look like it’s fixed in a correct manner 🙄
But your point about content creators getting early access. Ok there was no beta for F1 22 so we only had the content creators word for it. Giving big shout outs to EA and Codemasters for the opportunity…. To not tell their own followers about the issues with the game. Wasn’t until 2 weeks after game launched and everyone was angry did they start posting videos about how angry they were also. Thinking we are stupid. Stopped following a couple of the big creators after that. But they are no different to every content creator that has a relationship with a Game developer. Getting in the likes of EAs good graces matters more to them than their followers.
But the reason Game Developers give the game to them is because there are thousands of sim racing creators that get very good view numbers. Add them all together and they get more views and reach more people who are interested in the game than traditional advertising could ever hope to reach.
Just have to take a what they say with a pitch of salt. They will be correct it they say EA hasn’t told them what to say. But EA will give them direction on they can and can’t talk about. And they all agree to the terms or they don’t get game.
As for no Beta. Maybe they are confident they have built a banging game with only few bugs😇. Not like F1 games that have been ported over for years and had its code butchered every year
