How to Join a Club

• Head to racenet.com and sign in with your EA account.
  
  
• On the EA SPORTS WRC page, head to the Clubs tab.
  
  
• At the top of the page, use the search bar to find a Club by name.
  
  
• Within the search area you can also filter Clubs and events by Platform, Length, Assists, Tuning and Surface Degradation.
  
  
• Below the search area you can find My Clubs, showing the Clubs you are already a member of and check their details.
  
  
• Below My Clubs are Friends Clubs, showing you the Clubs your EA friends are members of.
  
  
• Below Friends Clubs are Official Clubs. These Clubs are created by EA SPORTS WRC and anybody can join.
  
  
• Head into any Club and copy its web URL to share it with your friends, or join a Club by using that URL.
  
  
• You can join and take part in up to 100 Clubs.
  
  
• You can leave any Club by visiting its page on Racenet and choosing the Leave option.

How to Join the Official WRC Clubs

• We have 4 official clubs for EA SPORTS WRC.

• Official WRC is a year-long championship featuring events using the WRC, WRC2 and Junior WRC car classes. Join here.

• Official Historic is a year-long championship featuring events using the older car classes in the game. Join here.

• Weekly Power Stage is a series of flat-out one-stage events built by our Discord community. Join here.

• Weekly Rally is a short series of simple events. Join here.

How to Create a Club

Creating a New Club

• On the EA SPORTS WRC page, head to the Clubs tab.
  
  
• Click on Create Club at the top of the page.

Club Customisation

• Club Name: Choose the name of your club. The maximum character limit is 18.
  
  
• Club Description: Enter a short description of your Club. Descriptions do not support line breaks or certain characters.
  
  
• Cover Image: Choose a cover image. This image will also appear in-game.
  
  
• Social Links - Discord: Add an invite link to your Discord server. The URL must use the discord.gg format, for example: https://discord.gg/easportswrc 
  
  
• Social Links - YouTube: Add a link to your YouTube channel.
  
  
• Social Links - Twitch: Add a link to your Twitch channel.

Club Settings

• Club Platform - Cross Network: This is enabled by default and allows players on all platforms to join and compete in a Club.
  
  
• Club Platform - Individual Platforms: If you uncheck Cross Network you can choose a specific platform that limits who can join and play.
  
  
• Privacy: Open lets anybody join your Club. Friends Only limits it to your EA friends.

Summary

• The Summary screen shows you the options you have selected when creating a Club.
  
  
• To accept these choices, hit Create Club to confirm.
  
  
• To edit your choices hit Back.

How to Manage a Club

Club Roles

• Each Club has 3 types of members.
  
  
• Owner - This is the person who can manage the Club its members, create championships and delete the Club. There can only be one Owner of a Club.
  
  
• Admin - These are people who can create championships and ban/kick Members. They can also promote Members to Admin, and demote Admins to Members
  
  
• Member - These are regular players who are members of a club. They have no special permissions outside of taking part in events.

Managing Members

• On the main Club screen, click on Members to view the Member list.
  
  
• Here you can view all Club Members.
  
  
• Owners can transfer ownership of the Club to another member, promote a Member to Admin, kick a Member, or ban them entirely. They can also demote Admins to Members.
  
  
• Admins can promote Members to Admin, demote Admins to Members, kick a Member or ban them entirely.
  
  
• When a Member is kicked, they can rejoin the Club.
  
  
• When a Member is banned, they cannot join the Club again.

Club Settings

• The Owner can change a Club’s settings.
  
  
• The options are the same as when creating a Club, please refer to that section for details.
  
  
• The Owner can also choose to delete the club from this menu.

How to Create a Club Championship

Creating a New Championship

• Championships can only be created in-game, so boot up EA SPORTS WRC to continue.
  
  
• From the main menu, head to Clubs. This shows you all of the Clubs you are a member of, and any active championships you can take part in.
  
  
• In order to create a Club Championship, you need to be either the Owner or Admin of a Club.
  
  
• Select the Club in which you want to create a Championship, then select Create Championship to begin.

How to add Events to a Club Championship

• The setup process for creating a Club Championship is similar to how you create events in Quick Play.
  
  
• Select Add Event to begin.
  
  
• Next, select the vehicle class you wish to use for that event.
  
  
• After this you select the event location, followed by the season (if available).
  
  
• Next, you select your stages. Choose the route, service area duration, weather and time of day.
  
  
• You can also randomly generate a selection of stages for your event. This will overwrite any stages you have currently set up.
  
  
• You can have up to 24 stages in a single event.
  
  
• You can have up to 16 events in a single championship.
  
  
• Select Confirm Event when you are ready.
  
  
• Next, you set the event duration. This is the number of days the event is available for, up to 30 days per event.
  
  
• Once you have selected the event duration, you return to the event creation screen, where you can add more events.
  
  
• You can also edit or delete any existing events from this screen.
  
  
• Select Confirm Championship to finish.

How to Save an Event Template

• On the championship events screen, you can save any event you have made into a template. 
  
  
• This is useful for when you have a recurring format or set of stages you like to run in your club.
  
  
• When you save an Event Template you can give it a name.
  
  
• Saved Event Templates can be used in future Quick Play and Club Championships.
  
  
• You can save up to 20 Event Templates in total.

How to Load an Event Template

• On the championship events screen, you can load any saved Event Templates to use in your next championship.
  
  
• Select Load Event to load an Event Template.
  
  
• Choose one of your saved Event Templates to import it into your championship.
  
  
• If you load an Event Template that was originally created in Quick Play, its duration will be set to 1 Day by default. You can change this later.

How to Save a Championship Template

• On the championship overview screen, you can save your entire championship as a template for future use.
  
  
• Select the overview tile and choose Championship options.
  
  
• From here you can save your Championship Template.
  
  
• Saved Championship Templates can be used in future Quick Play and Club Championships.

How to Load a Championship Template

• From the championship overview screen, select the overview tile and choose Championship Options.
  
  
• From here you can load any pre-saved Championship Templates.
  
  
• If you saved any Championship Templates in Quick Play that use settings not available in Clubs (such as Regularity Rally events), they will be changed accordingly.
  
  
• If you load a Championship Template that was originally created in Quick Play, its duration will be set to 1 Day by default. You can change this later.

How to adjust Championship Settings and start a Club Championship

• On the championship overview screen, select the tiles on the right to change settings that affect all events in the championship.
  
  
• Championship Name - Choose a name for your championship
  
  
• Scoring Method - Flexible: This scoring system adjusts awarded points based on how many people take part in a Club. This is best suited to larger clubs.
  
  
• Scoring Method - WRC: This scoring system scores players in the same way as a real-world WRC event. Points are awarded to the top 10 drivers. This is best suited to smaller clubs.
  
  
• Bonus Points - Power Stage: This setting allows players to earn bonus points during the Power Stage, the final stage of the event. The fastest time set during the Power Stage earns the most points. This option is only available when using the WRC Scoring Method.
  
  
• Bonus Points - Stage Wins: This setting allows players to earn additional points by winning individual stages. This option is only available when using the WRC Scoring Method.
  
  
• Hardcore Damage: Enabling this increases the severity of damage from impacts, and makes terminal damage far more likely to occur. Enable this to make the championship tougher for all drivers.
  
  
• Track Degradation: This setting affects how degraded the road surface will be for all players. A higher setting will be more challenging to drive on. Light is the closest match to Time Trial conditions, for those looking to practice ahead of their Club run.
  
  
• In the Additional Settings menu there are two more options.
  
  
• Assists: You can choose to let players use assists or ban them entirely.
  
  
• Tuning: You can also choose to let players adjusting their cars’ tuning setups, or force all players to use the default setup for their chosen car.
  
  
• Once you are happy with your events and settings, choose Start Championship on the overview screen.

How to choose the Start Date for a Club Championship

• After you have set everything up and selected Start Championship, you have one final task before setting the event live.
  
  
• Starts In (Days): This setting lets you choose how far in the future you want your championship to begin. You can start your event today (0 days) or up to 
  
  
• Hours Until Start: This setting adjusts how long (in hours and minutes) you need to wait before the championship begins. This increases in 15 minute increments.
  
  
• Combine both settings to find a suitable time for you and your community start rallying. Set both to zero to start immediately.
  
  
• Once you select Confirm, your Club Championship is complete.
  
  
• If you selected a time in the future for a Club Championship to start on, a countdown will appear. Otherwise you and your Members can start driving right now.
  
  
• In My Clubs Hub, you can select Club Options to abandon a championship if you want to stop it early and create a new one from scratch.

How to View and Manage Club Standings

How to View Standings In-Game

• After you complete a stage, you will be presented with the Leaderboard, showing you the current standings up to that point.
  
  
• The Leaderboard shows all relevant information about each driver, such as the car, the platform they are playing on, their total time and the gap to the leader, and more.
  
  
• You can also select Options on any player to inspect their Rally Passport, showing that player’s key stats across the game.
  
  
• Within the Options menu you are also able to automatically scroll to the top of the Leaderboard, or to your own position. This is useful when you’re checking the standings of larger Clubs.
  
  
• You can also check the Event Overview to see your progress so far, along with the list of upcoming stages. You can view the Leaderboard from here also.
  
  
• The Leaderboard and Event Overview are also accessible back in the main Clubs menu for each Club you are competing in.

How to View Standings on Racenet

• On Racenet, head to the Clubs page for EA SPORTS WRC and find the Club you’re checking standings for.
  
  
• If there is a Club Championship in progress, you will be able to see the standings for each individual stage, as well as the overall Championship standings.
  
  
• You can also review the results of previously completed Championships.
  
  
• If you select the flag icon on the right, you can see the overall standings for an event. This is the combined time across all stages.
  
  
• Underneath the flag, the dropdown menu lets you filter results based on the platform people are playing on, or display the cross-platform Leaderboard.
  
  
• When you select a player on a stage’s Leaderboard, you can view more detailed information about their performance, such as the sector times and what assists they are using.
  
  
• You will also see a 3D representation of their performance, allowing you to inspect their racing lines and approach to each corner. This is a simplified version of the Analysis tools used to display Time Trial data.
  
  
• If you have set a time on the same stage in the Club, your performance will be compared with your chosen opponent. This is a great way to see where you are gaining or losing time, and where you can improve in the future.

How to Export Standings on Racenet

• Underneath the stage and event Leaderboards, and the Championship standings, you will see an Export button.
  
  
• This button allows you to export a .csv file of your chosen Leaderboard.
  
  
• These .csv files can be used to share your results outside of Racenet, such as on your community’s website or in your Discord server.
  
  
• Exporting a .csv for an individual stage’s Leaderboard provides the following data: Rank, Player Name, Vehicle, Time, Penalties, Gap to Leader, Platform
  
  
• Exporting a .csv for an individual event’s Leaderboard provides the following data: Rank, Player Name, Vehicle, Time, Gap to leader, Platform, Points
  
  
• Exporting a .csv for a Championship Leaderboard provides the following data: Player Name, Rank, Points, Time
  
  
• Please note that some data may not be visible on .csv files due to various players’ privacy settings.
