EA WRC

Would like to know why some races have a padlock, in the translation it says that I gave up, but even though I start the first stage, and win, coming in first, I can't continue in the following stages, to meet the sponsor's goals, Ex: I finished first in the Sweden stage in the WRC Junior, when I go to the second, I can't. Does anyone know why?
