It's too bad that the contents of this patch can't be used in career. Improvements are needed.

Yeah, career has so much potential, but like every single player mode in every racing game, it languishes without attention. I'd be ok with the situation if I knew there was a bigger, and most importantly, intelligent overhaul of the mode coming in the future, but the industry has made me a cynic.
I've suffered through too much of single player endgame being ignored and "big overhauls" being nothing but cosmetic and solving none of the issues (or even sometimes creating more issues). Sorry CM, my default now is cynical.
