One of the problems is that the decal across the top of the windscreen comes down so far that it blocks a lot of your view when in the cockpit camera. The Rally 1 cars are the worst, they are so bad that I just have to make my own livery, and not put a decal at the top of the windscreen, While this is a workaround, it doesn't solve the underlying problem of not being able to see well enough when in the cockpit camera.

I initially had the same complaint then found being able to reset your VR view solves that. By sitting higher or lower in your seat then resetting the view before sitting back normally you can keep adjusting before you start till you get the view you need.
