Ford Escort Mk1 engine & power output:
I did found out info that Ford Escort Mk1 BDA engines were upgraded to 1993cc 230hp versions for Works cars by mid 1972 and in game car is mentioned to be from year 1973.
But then also 1974 Rally Finland winner Hannu Mikkola's some factory Escort Mk1 only had 165hp which could have been with 1600cc weaker BDA engine version, but bit strange he didn't get more powerful engine to that -74 rally 2years later, maybe he wasn't a Works driver then idk.
Ford Escort Mk1 weight in the game:
Weight of the car in game seems to be off unless it's included everything like crew+fuel&other fluids+tools+spare parts etc as in Full-Race-Ready-Weight then total weight could end up being 1027kg, classification minimum weight back then was something like 785kg for it.
Example: car 785kg minimum, +crew 150kg, +helmets+pacenote books etc 5kg, +fuel 50kg, +oil+coolant+brake&clutch hydr. fluids 10kg, tools+spare parts 7kg, possibly even 1spare tire 20kg = 1027kg. Or maybe car actually was bit heavier than minimum weight, like 805kg instead of 785kg so then we get to 1027kg without spare tire inside.
Comparison to Hillman Avenger weight in the game:
If weight is set wrong for Escort Mk1 1027kg (+about 242kg on top = Race-Ready weight 1269kg?) then it has no chance of matching Hillman also with same 230hp, but mentioned to be much lighter 850kg (+about 242kg on top = Race-Ready weight 1092kg?) in game when it should be quite on par with HIllman.
