Definitely.  The fragility of the gearbox and brakes is ridiculous. 

I'm in a club doing ~200km Rallies and I have to replace the gearbox and brakes several times (with no crashing) over the course of the Rally. I end up taking time penalties to fix the bloody things all the time.
