For the last 2-3 years I've been installing Nvidia drivers using NVCleaninstall as it allows installation of only core elements so GeForce Experience and the components that rely on it never get installed as they're unnecessary.

Do your own investigating as to why the game is not picked up in GFE, it's likely its because of the 1.4.1 update and will be fixed in the next few days. GFE is just bloat and you can play the game without it.
