Hey @juzz3e
Can you upload an image or a clip of the particles you consider unrealistic for the game so we can report it to the team?
Thanks,

as you can already see, despite the poor resolution of the images, the difference between the rain in DR2 and that in EA WRC is quite a lot
@EA_Groguet On the window it is just white blobs, the rain is not transparent enough. This is a still image and it does not really show how bad it is when it is moving while driving. It is almost impossible to look past and using the wipers makes visibility even worse. Currently there is a big disadvantage to players who play from the cockpit cam. The rain on the window should look more like the rain on the camera lens for all the other cameras.
Hey there,
Thank you for your report and for attaching the images. I will pass this to the team.

@EA_Groguet Sad to report that on PC the rain still looks the same. Not sure if the improved rain visuals mentioned in the 1.7 patch notes were referring to this but if they did rain on the cockpit window on PC still looks about the same.
I'm running the highest settings, and I find the rain effect to be far too white, and not transparent. Its terribly hard to see anything
Agree, i just posted a thread on the bug report list, the particle effect i think it's good, but the drops are just too white, it's impossible to see especially during a night stage
There was a clear difference after 1.7 update. It's now much harder to see throught the windscreen without using wipers. I also I don't get it about "too" white rain drops or not being able to see. I can see just fine even during heavy rain during night. The rain looks good enough in my opinion. I wonder do all the people who complain about white drops use HDR or the custom exposure fix? Because I know at least some people who complain about it do use those.
I use HDR and no other custom .ini edits. You can't of have to use HDR if you have it because from cockpit view (mainly the road surface) looks way to bright. The rain on my windshield more resembles male reproductive fluids than actual rain. See screenshot a couple posts above. The screenshot does not even show how bad it is when driving at speed and using wipers does not really make a difference. I have tried all graphics settings for low to ultra but it always looks the same.
