The WRC 97to2011 --- Club (Heavy Degraded, HC Damage)

Hello there,
We have a very diverse car class with the 97-11 Category, as well as 17 fully fledged Rally locations.
After looking through current clubs, I missed some condensed recreations of imho the golden era of WRC. Also I miss more clubs, where the degradation is set to heavy or maximum, as I find the driving much more interesting and realistic for gravel roads. I also checked how many Events a Club can have, turns out exactly 16.

Therefore I have this question, cast your interest if you would like to drive this. It's only worth to go through the creation trouble , if not driving alone.

EDIT: Poll on reddit succesful. This Club exists, join at the link below

Club: WRC from '97-'11

https://racenet.com/ea_sports_wrc/clubs/4887

Assists allowed, Tuning Allowed, WRC Scoring with Power Stage
Harcdore Damage, Heavy Degradation

Recreating a WRC Season from the timeframe. Uncovered Rallies will be approximated by season/weatehr changes of others. Rallies last for 3 Days (so ca. 1.5 months per season)

They will contain 3-6 stages covering approx 75km of competition (20% of a real event, so it is drivable in one sitting)

Rallies between 97-11, that need to be approximated

  • Argentina: ??? (Winter, cloudy, wet)
  • Sanremo:  Monte Carlo (Autumn)
  • Australia:   Indonesia (Summer, dry)
  • Wales/UK: Chile (Winter, wet)
  • Cyprus:     Greece (?)
  • Turkey:      Sardegna (Winter)
  • Germany:  Central Europe
  • Bulgaria:    ???Monte again
  • China:       Kenya (Winter, wet)
  • Jordan:      ?mexico
  • Alsace:      ?croatia
  • Poland:     Estonia
  • Ireland:      ?CER/Corse (Winter, wet)

  • It is decided, after a poll on reddit it is over 70+ vs. 3- for interest in the club.

Small change though, first season will be 1997 and it will start on monday. This way we have 14 events, with the last one finishing exactly at 31st Dec.

I will update the original post to include my current findings for the "stand-in" locations. So with what ingame Rally at which season/weather we will approximate an event, if it is not covered by the game.

  • The next Season will be the original plan of 2007

I think there will be a gap for new years, but I should be able to get it up and live during the first half of January.
So far with the stand-in locations, I feel the need to change Argentina. Wet Portugal did not fully feel satisfying. Especially when Argentina and Portugal are right after each other in the calendar.
My current plan is either a wet Kenya or a wet Mexico. Feel Kenya hits the scenery better and Mexico the driving.
    Other stand-ins for the 2007:
    Germany: CER (Summer, dry)
Ireland: Either Corse or CER (winter, wet)
    Wales: Chile (winter wet)

Let me know what you think of a good Argentina stand in.
Already looking forward to the next round, this one has been attended by many and is very competitive.
