Tires problem on Long Events
The last time I wrote about a car repair problem, EA fixed the bug, I hope it will be similar this time 😇 I run a league in CLUB, which consists of several stages during the Rally (sometimes for ...
Exactly.
And it's not finished yet:
If I set 14 stage per rally, there are no big problems to conclude the rally, because you only have to manage well the tyres, and change it after 5 or 6 stage(depending of km.)
This because the wearing is not so much, especially on 4wd.
And the grip is so kuch whit new tyre,so when you have less grip is much fun.
But the problem is that it is unreal to can't change the tyres on 2 or 3 service in a row.So it is more beautiful, real and fun to have more tyres to change.
There are another problem:
If like me,you play a single custom rally, whit 26 special stage, the IA opponent drivers,CHANGE THE TYRES ON EACH SERVICE!
So they after 3 service have anymore tyres to change and I often win the rally by 1 or more minutes because they have no more tyres.
And I also win All the POWER STAGE in this way too.
This is only for gravel events, because in tarmac rally they give 4 or more wet tyres, but if the events are on summer, are too bad because it doesn't rain.
I often put the rain tyre for 2 dry stages,if they are not so long, but my AI OPPONENT NOT,so I can win easily, and it is boring.
PLEASE CODEMASTERS FIX IT
I Agree with everything that's said here.
I also find it astonishing that Codemasters don't consider it a priority.
In the meantime, here's a workaround that i've found gives me a better Custom Championship experience.
Gravel Events:
Turn off Hardcore Damage. This only effects you and is exaggerated anyway compared to the damage the AI get.
Have only 3 services and make sure the first stint is long, as this stops the AI always choosing the softest (recommended) tyre.
Tarmac Events:
Just add some wet stages to make up for the shortfall in dry tyres.
Setting up an event this way gives me a more competitive and realistic feel to a rally right down to the wire.
Try it.
Exactly.
This is the only way for fun in a single rally of 12 \ 18 special stages
