Unfair ability to turn off fog on PC
EA sports WRC allows players on PC to turn off fog on PC. However under heavy snowfall conditions the fog is really challenging and visibility is extremely limited with it. I think this pretty cool but on PC players can just turn it off to gain massive advantage. This totally unfair to those who have the fog on. Also I am not sure if console player have the fog, but I think they do. Essentially this gives cheaty PC players a massive advantage in mulitplatform leaderboards and lobbies. Please make the heavy fog mandatory for all players for the sake of fairness.
If the fog causes performance hit then it should just be part of the baseline performance. However on many older games especially fog was used to limit render distance and thus actually improve performance so why not in this game as well? May be game engine related but either way the fog should be on for everybody.
Just in case someone doesn't know what I am talking about. Picture one has fog on and picture 2 fog off. Notice a difference?
