What's up with Secto and 5MIN leaders gap???

What is going on now??? I have been racing rally stages for years and never once have I EVER been even close to being 5min behind the leader. If it's some kind of cheat or short cut please stop it. This sim has enough growing pains without some loser hacks trying to wreck it for the ones that have a true passion for this. OR maybe, just maybe I am just not as competitive at this than I thought I was. I can accept that. As soon as someone explains why I am exactly 5min bad at each event.
