On PS5 it is the same. Great gameplay, nice long stages but the graphics are not that great! It is a shame. I don’t think it will be better in the coming years because there will not be a new annual WRC game. So this is it.

Lets hope they improve it with an update like acc did, acc looks amazing like a whole new game now, and they are both on unreal engine.
But graphics aside its the frame drops and screen tearing thats the real problem, nowhere near as bad as it was but any amount is not acceptable in a game like this.
Motogp game also runs on UE4 and similar to acc, looks and runs significantly better.
Yes WRC has longer stages. But you're not drawing all 35km of it to put on screen. And ACC manages nordschleife pretty well.
It's simply very poor optimization. Together with half the options not working like they should. (Native TAA cinematic looks like a blurry mess compared to DLSS). Actually, for both frame rate and visual quality, WRC is the only racing game that I actually need to run DLSS, plus cap frame rate much lower (90 fps compared to 120 or even 144 for other games)
It not just looks bad, it performs badly on my Series X. Poor graphics and low frame rate hits my eyes very hard. No point of the long stages if I can't finish the stage without pain and tears. While the gameplay is enjoyable I simply don't want to torture my eyes. I can play any other game for hours, but this destroys my eyes in 10 minutes.
Currently I'm selling my game. It was a waste of 50€. I'll try it again after october 8th update, but I doubt there will be any improvements in this regard.
P.S. also I can't stand when minor objects like small bushes or reflectors by the road (japan) stops the car as you would hit a tree. Nonsense.
