WRC Gyro Steering?

Will EA Sports WRC (11/2023) have gyroscopic steering like GT7? I’ve grown accustomed to steering this way and cannot adjust back to a thumb stick, and don’t want to buy it if it doesn’t have this feature.

  • Is there any chance this game will support using Gyro steering with Dualsense controllers for PC in future?

Using Steam input creates its own issue as the steering input randomly jumps to ~30% (and stays there). I tried switching windows to Steam to see if it was a controller issue but it appears that switching away from WRC causes the glitch to fix itself. Obviously the game is unplayable as you can't play a racing game while having to switch windows every 30 seconds to keep the steering centred.

I had no controller issues at all with Dirt Rally 2.0

    Thanks

I have tried DS4windows and DX5, in both cases the game still needs Steam Input active in order to read gyro inputs.

In this case I didn't get as far as playing the game because when it did work (tried emulating Xbox & DS4) the game read any gyro input as +-100% and it is impossible to unbind the gyro/joystick from menu navigation, so upon loading the game the highlighted menu option skips constantly. I had to switch off the controller in order to use keyboard to exit the game.

Played on Dirt Rally 2.0 instead, no issues.

You have to hide your real controller with HidHide and disable steam input, then use DS4Windows.

I did use HiHide, also like I said if I disable Steam Input then the game doesn't recognise gyro input at all, even with DS4windows
