1.41 Broke multi shift inputs
Product: EA SPORTS™ WRC
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug Before 1.41, I had both my Simagic Alpha Mini and my Fanatec 1.5 Shifter (in sequential only) both working perfectly fine together — using both at any time to shift up and down. However, it appears the new update doesn’t like having two shifting inputs mapped. The Simagic always shifts properly. The Fanatec always registers the shift perfectly during the test feature in the menu (only using sequential). However, the Fanatec shifter will randomly not sequentially shift while _driving_. BUT if I unmap the Simagic wheel from shifting, the Fanatec shifter works perfectly. Remapping the buttons to the Simagic wheel resolves the issue ONLY for the driving session. As of 1.41, I have to unmap shifting and remap for my wheel each time I want to play. This was not present in patch 1.40 (with 50 hours of gameplay)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Mount two peripherals to sequential shifting (my exact scenario is below): ----A. Simagic Wheel with paddle shifters mapped to sequential. (Primary Device) ----B. Fanatec 1.5 Shifter in sequential mode mapped to sequential. 2. Begin any race. 3. Exit the game. 4. Restart the game. 5. Begin the race. 6. Shift using the shifter, not the wheel. Result: The primary device will shift normally. The Sequential shifter will randomly miss shifts, especially if steering. Note 1: You can use the controller screen to validate that the shifts are being received by the shifter. But they are not recognized specifically while driving. You don't need to have you foot on the gas to see the missed shifts. Perhaps moving the steering wheel helps? Note 2: You must restart the game after the first part because unmapping and remapping the primary shifting device (the paddle shifters) resolves the issue only for the session. Restarting presents the issue once more.
What happens when the bug occurs? The secondary shifter (Fanatec 1.5) randomly does not shift up or down while racing. The secondary shifter (Fanatec 1.5) does properly register shifts in the controller configuration menu. This was not present in patch 1.40 (with 50 hours of gameplay).
What do you expect to see? Both primary shifter (Simagic wheelbase) and secondary shifter (Fanatec 1.5) will shift properly, without conflict.
Thank you!
