1.9.0 Moments — No server connection, no credit for completion at all?

I've had the same issue on multiple moments. It started after 1.9 update.

I had to play the same moment multiple times to get the medal. Whenever I get Unable to Connect after a SUCESSFUL run I clicked Retry multiple times across multiple minutes and it did not help. Only doing a moment again helps, but even then you're not sure if it will connect. Sometimes even the second completion of a moment did not help.
