Same problem. Have tried 3 screens with Surround and without, 1 screen, windowed, re-install,
made sure I have vcredist_x64.exe installed. No useful help from support. Why are they not
asking for DXDiag, crash reports, dmp or whatever files they need to track the bug?
It feels hopeless to get any quality knowledgeable response from the developer on this. It
is DR2 all over, it seems. My case was just closed with a "no fix". I have talked to them 2 times
for a long time. The fixes I got to try was mostly not even related to my situation, like they did
not read my explanations and just copied some random solutions from a general script.
Also during startup, Ctrl+Alt+Enter does not toggle Windowed/Fullscreen.

What happens when the bug occurs? Screen stays black on startup, can't get past it - FORCE CLOSE
What do you expect to see? the game!
