Same here!
I put the game down for the last two months due to how frustrated I have grown with my DD Pro not working, to any useable extent, with WRC. Can't say I'm excited to have tried again to find the exact same issue persists.
How needs to get their crap together to get this fixed? FANATEC is a partner, for god's sake.
I have no force feedback and have the disconnect issue. But, I can fired up Dirt 2.0 and it works perfectly. Fire up GT7 and it works perfectly.

Yep, same here, latest patch didn’t fix the issue. It might be due the handbrake (Fanatec). I disconnected it and with short testing it seemed to help, at least i was able to finish the stage for a long time 😅
I’m not gonna play this without handbrake, but if others have similar findings, maybe EA can look at it.
I was having issues before latest patch and now I can’t even play the game it just keeps on disconnecting my wheel !!!!
before the latest patch I had issues with car stuck on start line then when I got that fixed now I have no force feedback!!! And now this disconnect issue. I contacted ae and they are F*****g useless not interested I really don’t know what to do !!!!
