Be sure to try the recent 1.3 patch. I wasn't able to recreate the issue anymore with a quick test.
If that doesn't solve it for you, someone suggested that it might be related to the gear box tuning. If gear box is left default, the issue might not appear.

I've completed the patch when it first became available. I didn't have my set-up disappear until today. But it's only been on my career mode.

@mistrelwood Leaving the gearbox unchanged isn't really a solution.
This is a major issue that needs to be fixed ASAP.

@POW18 Oh, absolutely! Just that if it really does help, it’s something to make the wait for a fix just a little easier. And perhaps even offer EA a place to start looking from.

Else the more tedious solution is to just take screenshots, or take pics of tuning screens with the phone...

I thought this could also be something to do with the servers, since it happens after a certain time (24H?) But are these settings completely erased, or there's a problem with loading them?

@mistrelwood I just came up with another temporary solution that I'm testing right now. Since the setups only dissappear after like 24 H, before that time is up, load the setup, make one minimal change in the gear ratios and save it under another name.

This way it should 'survive' another 24 H.
Let me know if this works!
