i have this bug after relaunchin game in the middle of the stage
I was ~29th in a career side rally at Mediterraneo after a few stages, more than a minute behind the lead and took a break. When I went back in to continue, after the completing the next stage I was in the lead by 3 1/2 minutes. I definitely wasn't driving fast enough to pull that off. Absolutely broken.
This was at 100% difficulty btw.
This huge bug aside, seems like the AI needs to be rebalanced on the whole. I was crushing at 90% despite not being very good, so much so it seemed like it should be what 40-60% should be. 100% should be unbeatable for the average driver like myself. Even ~85% should be borderline unbeatable or back and forth unless you're doing extremely well. It's no fun winning all the time, especially by a wide margin when you know you are doing mediocre and have tons of room for improvement. If people actually want to win without much effort, that should be reserved to 50% difficulty and below.
