Update: This appears to happen when I leave the game mid-rally (at a service or something) and then come back to play at a different time.
I also have this problem. I use 100% AI difficulty and everything is great and usually close together, but as soon as I leave the game mid-rally, the AI drivers are incredibly slow and I win every stage with almost 5 minutes ahead of them. Please fix this one, because otherwise I won't continue playing, because this bug breaks the game for me.
