The in car view showing the steering wheel has a very off-putting delay / damping on the steering wheel compared to what you are inputting on your own wheel.
Almost like it was made to smooth out controller input or something. Needs to be much faster.

heres a link to a video of the steering lag. it was exactly the same on Dirt 4, which i also refunded. definitely nothing to do with game mode on TV and it wasnt fixed then either. good luck waiting for a fix. Dirt Rally 2 is fine so how did something as bad and obvious as this slip through to launch? A: they dont care and probably wont fix it and just do the minimum to port games to PC that are made for console and gamepad users. only EA and Codemasters seem to release games with such obvious and terrible bugs. clearly they just dont care and are happy to just copy/paste and reuse old code over and over to the frustration of users ie: no mouse support in the F1 games after 10 years. if its only our rigs that are the problem then post a video here like the one below showing no lag at all like Dirt Rally 2 which is fine.

obviously there is a big steering lag and some stupid inertia setting somewhere. get rid of both and i might consider repurchasing the game i refunded. it appears the issue of not being able to start the game on Steam has been addressed which is why i refunded. WHAT A CLANGER THAT WAS! fix the steering please cause i really wanna play this game. just paste the code from Dirt Rally 2! hahaha

really? cheers! i didnt see anything in the notes for update 1.2 or 1.3. will have another look. a video similar to the one previously posted showing lag or lack thereof by devs to convince us would be nice. then i would repurchase
@RevhedI'm not sure if I can make and post a video here, but at least on PC with a Controller, the animation is definitely more "direct" and twitchy now after 1.3. I personally preferred a smoother animation, but if the smoothing was bothering you, it should be fixed now.
Would be awesome to get a setting for visual smoothing of the animation in the menu :D
