Ea wrc anti cheat error after 2.1.6 update

Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug Game gives anti cheat error (see attached picture)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Look at the picture
What happens when the bug occurs? The game won’t start and I get mad
What do you expect to see? A fix

Well as it seems the recent update has fixed the game for some, I recently never had issues, on 2 pcs, and now after the update, I played for 1 stage, wrc crashes my pc (edit: I

actually don’t know if it was wrc but I find it odd , never crashed before and gives me trouble with wrc after I try to relaunch it…), and after restart I get this message, see attached picture. @EA_Groguet

    You guys are great,
    The USB port is also the problem for me.
    I have a NAS-Server connected via the USB port.

    EA should address the problem and provide a patch!

    Hi there Surf02_hh. As a matter of interest, have you found which one of your USB devices is causing your problem?

    I am trying to find a common type or brand of device that triggers the cheat code. Thanks, BundyBro77

    Hi @surf02_hh 

    Thanks for the DiskStation info. I was expecting you may have also had some sim rig USB's on a hub (since we are on a rally sim). So definitely not one of those? Don't know why a NAS would trigger the cheat blocker. It's a puzzle for sure.

    Hello @BundyBro77 ,

    Yes, I have a sim rig from Fanatec, but that's not the problem.
    It's the DiskStation, directly connected via USB to the PC.
