EAWRC turns on RevStripe for Fanatec WRC wheel.

Product: EA SPORTS™ WRC
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug I have a Fanatec WRC wheel and DD 8nm. I have turned the RevStipe/RevLEDs off in the Fanatec program but EA Sports WRC has it on anyway. I can manually go in and deactivate it after i have started EAWRC, but nex time I restart the computer this comes again.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I do not know, Test to turn the Rev-indication off and run the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? The stearing wheel lights up even though I have turned if off.
What do you expect to see? EAWRC should not default set options that we manage in the Fanatec Manager.

  • @Perce_Flors How do you manually deactivate the RevStripe after launching EA WRC?

For me, Fanatec Control Panel shows the RevStripe as disabled even when EA WRC is running, so it's as if the game is ignoring the setting altogether.
  • I know I went into the Fanatec Manager and deactivated the rev light since the program turned it on. But next time I started EA WRC it was on again. I could not get it to stay off so I have put black electric-tape around the top of the wheel to block the light.

    No real solution.

@Perce_Flors I've managed to turn off the RevStripe by setting the "RevLEDs" to disabled inside the FanaLab software, under LED tab.

I've turned off LED display in FanaLab as well, but it still shows gear numbers during gameplay. One step at a time I guess!

I have to use a duck tape on it when i play EA WRC which is not acceptable

Any other game can handle LED on Fanatec wheel execpt EA Sports WRC
