I had the same issues, put your wheel base in compatibility mode then relaunch the game and it should be sorted

Actually the first link that OP mentioned has the solution that worked for me. You just need to make a couple of quick modifications to an XML file and then the wheel is detected and all of the buttons become functional and are able to be used for menu navigation.
- 2 years ago@TrippulG thanks for the advice, but I am using PS5, so I can't change any files( Also, I have tried compatibility mode, but the results are the same... Only devs can fix this issue with a patch

I also encounter the same problem , ps5 fanatec csl elite BMW GT2 V2 and buttons don’t work in menus

Put your base in compatibility mode, I did that and mine works fine. Make sure you restart your game. The wheel will read as a Logitech but set that as your primary and you're good to go

Well I'm on ps5 and compatibility mode works just fine for me, did you restart your game and system?

Can't manipulate files on ps5. Mine works fine in compatibility mode, don't know why it doesn't work for others
