Small update: I just realized that I had the base in compatibility mode (yellow) instead of PC mode (red). I thought this may have been a solution, but just tried it and the wheel itself is still being recognized as the PS5 version for some reason. ☹️

@Sgtpaper67The Compatiblity Mode is for the older games, as in this mode, the CSL DD will act as a ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5.
Also, depending on the wheel rim attached on the Fanatec wheel base, the game will use either the generic button prompts, the Xbox button prompts, the PlayStation button prompts or the colored button prompts. In your case, the game is showing the PlayStation button prompts because you have the generic version of the CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2 attached instead of the Xbox version (which has the Xbox face buttons).- 3 years ago
Interesting, so WRC doesn’t have the ability to show the generic wheel’s numbers and icons instead of the ps5 ones?
like, it would be nice to just be able to select which wheel face you have instead of it assuming the wrong one.
- 3 years ago@Sgtpaper67 Unfortunately, the game (as of now) doesn't allow us to choose what button prompts to use.
