I have BMW v2 wheel and it wasnt recognized. I went thru the actionmapping preset .xml files and found it had ftec_rim_csswbmw.xml. So I renamed it to ftec_rim_csswbmwv2.xml and edited <action_map name="ftec_rim_csswbmw" sub_device_name="ftec_rim_csswbmw" library="lib_direct_input" version="28"> into <action_map name="ftec_rim_csswbmwv2" sub_device_name="ftec_rim_csswbmwv2" library="lib_direct_input" version="28">
went into control settings, reloaded fanatec csl dd preset and it offered ftec_rim_csswbmwv2 as a wheel, klik yes yes and I'll be damned it worked :D
Please fix this, 1 week after the launch and still can't enjoy the game at all. The wheel is disconnected every 10sec and a second wheel is displayed in the menu, clearly a bug. Talk to us, give us info or eta on the possible fix, pls.

@eqyw0p2onrkoIf the wheel base you have is either the Fanatec CSL DD or GT DD Pro, you need to check on the QR shaft, as having it come out even a slightest can cause the wheel rim to disconnect from the wheel base. If it does, push it back in and tighten the clamp-type collar (that held down the shaft).
Also, if you forgot to update the firmware on Fanatec wheel base, wheel rim and pedals for a long time, you might need to do so using the update utility that the Fanatec driver came with.
