Game crashes when clicking "Continue Career"

I really don't want to vent my spleen, but wanna put this into context. NEVER in my life has a game broke after an update, to the point where you can't play the game at all. No I won't just bin off my career because the update broke it. This is totally ridiculous and the worst service I've received for a paid service in a long time. Sort this out immediately before you lose a very loyal userbase. If this doesn't get sorted by the end of w/c 18th I hope gaming sites are all over it and there's an absolute shredding. At least some communication on the issue, it's really not much to ask. Shocking
