Game crashes with UE error at same spot in stage

Product: EA SPORTS™ WRC
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug There is a particular 2 right that appears in several CER stages and the game crashes here every time. The same UE error message as the Monte/ultra ground cover bug. Reduced all settings from ultra down to high just to be safe, and GPU temps are low. If I verify game files and reinstall GPU driver I can get through the corner once before it starts crashing. Forcing directx11 seems to fix it but the trade off is pretty bad stutters/fps drop.  I've also had the crash on other CER stages, and once in Estonia, but haven't isolated it any more than that. I will try lowering groung cover even further
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? This corner is in several stages, but if I start Příkazy in CER and drive ~2km to the first "2 right" turn of the stage, the game will crash. I've also had the crash on other CER stages, and once in Estonia, but haven't isolated which corner.
What happens when the bug occurs? Wheel goes full lock in the direction I was turning and stays there, the game freezes for a few moments, the application ends and I get one of two UE errors, which I'll paste below
What do you expect to see? no crashin

  • This seems to have been fixed by turning off upscaling. Was using AMD FSR, with upscaler completely off I can get through this corner as many times as I'd like without crashing. I assume the other mystery crashes should be gone as well.

  • I have the same issue, but my workaround was to lower the ground cover to medium from high. However, I didn't get any UE errors pop up, just CTD,
