Gold Rush achievement not unlocked despite meeting conditions

Product: EA SPORTS™ WRC
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Gold Rush achievement was not awarded despite meeting the criteria. I earned 5 (actually 8) gold medals in moments (season 1). I play on PC, EA app. Screenshots attached.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Since it's about achievement, I'm not sure it's reproducible, but: 1. Earn 5 gold medals in moments 2. See if "Gold rush" achievement unlocked for you on EA app.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing, achievement did not pop.
What do you expect to see? Achievement "Gold Rush" popping.

The achievement unlocked for me today after getting my 9th gold medal in total (1st in season 2).
The current version of the game is 1.4.1.
I reinstalled the game before playing today, not sure if it matters.
I'm closing the bug.

I found out that season 2 keeps the medals from the past in archive, wchich likely means I will never be able to get the "fifth" medal again and thus never unlock the achievement...

But does it have any other trigger by any chance? Does anyone know? There must be a way, looks like a rare bug.

I just have raised this with the team. This might take a little to reproduce from our side, however, as soon as I have more info I will come back to you.

There is a likelihood EA App was not running in the background while I unlocked the 5th gold medal (though I can't say that for sure).
Does it have to run in background in order for the achievement services to work?
