Not registering as a game in Geforce Experience no FDS

Geforce experience is not registering WRC as a game (i.e. I cannot get it to display in the games list).

Also, when the game is on, the FPS will not display.

I am also having major issues where the game is constantly crashing, making it totally unusable.

Any suggestions?

Download and install all available Windows Updates

Run System File Checker to ensure the integrity of your Windows System files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

Perform a clean boot before starting the game: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 or http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

Check your machine meets the below requirements:

    Windows minimum requirements

    • OS:Win 10
    • Processor(AMD):AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
    • Processor(Intel):Intel i5 9600K

    • Graphics Card(Nvidia):Nvidia GTX 1060
    • Direct X:12
    • Online Connection Requirements:Broadband

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

I had already tried all of these things, with the exception of the clean boot. I ran through all of your steps including the clean boot, and was not able to open Steam, Geoforce Experience or EA. I tried again, allowing for the Nvidia and steam to open, but WRC still does not display in Geforce Experience. My computer exceeds the minimum recommendations.

    Summary of problems:

    - WRC does not display in Geforce Experience

    - WRC does not display in EA app (even though linked to Steam and other EA game that I have is fine)

    - FPS overlays in game displays NA when using WRC (fine for all other games)

    - WRC constantly crashes either in the menus or within a couple of minutes of starting
