[PC] Xbox Series X controller missing rumble/vibration

Issue:

Xbox Series X controller is producing no vibration/rumble feedback in game.

On the first time I launched the game, the controller rumble was working ok. However during the second play session, the controller lost rumble functionality between events.

The specific event it occurred on was during Career, selecting a H2 FWD event, where the Peugeot 309 GTI is provided for a manufacturer event in Iberia.

Disconnecting and reconnecting the controller did very briefly restore rumble function, but it cut out almost immediately again.

I've tried changing the batteries in the controller (which is a new controller), but this has not resolved the issue.
