Pedals device type not retained upon restart

Summarize your bug Whenever I close and restart the game, I have to set my pedals (Moza SRP) as pedals again in the controls menu to have them work again.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Connect unsupported pedal sets (like my Moza SRP Pedals) and set up the pedals in-game. Close the game and then restart it. The pedals will not be remembered upon restart and will not work in-game. I have to go into the controls menu and click "calibrate now" and then set the device as pedals in order for them to work again.
What happens when the bug occurs? The pedal do not work to control the car in-game until I go into the controls menu and set the device type again.
What do you expect to see? Upon opening the game again, the pedals will not work in-game until I go to the controls menu to set them as pedals again.

It seems that with many not officially-supported pedal sets (like the Moza SRP pedals), the game will not remember what type of device the pedals are when closing and opening the game again. The pedals will not work in-game upon restart. I have to go into the controls menu every time and click "calibrate now" every time I start the game to set the device type again and then they will work.
