Re: Cars not moving at start

I had a similar problem with my handbrake. Everytime I moved my handbrake, I got the warning "device disconnected" or "deviced changed". It also detected 2 devices: my setup with handbrake and the same without handbrake.

The reason was the handbrake itself. If you open it, there is a screw to adjust the spring. In my case I guess it got a little bit loose during playing, so that it was out of the range when in zero-position and the game detected it as disconnected.

So in my case the input at zero position was somehow in negative range or no input. In your case I guess it is the oposite way, so that in zero-positon the input is greater than zero already.

I think you should connect the wheel base to the PC and calibrate the handbrake with the fanatec software. In my case I also adjusted the screw a little bit.

I didn't have such problem on any other game but it seems this game is not very tolerant if something is not calibrated 100% on fanatec/device side or maybe the range is not mapped 100% correctly to the game.

    Hi Christrind,

exactly the same issue with my fanatec handbrake. No issue with other games like DR2. Will try your solution. Also have the issue with car is not moving at the start but it seem to work now.
