I have only set -dx11 in the launch parameters and with that alone it has no longer crashed.
This should be taken into account by developers for possible future patches.

Forcing dx11 fixed Monte crashing for me as well!!
Like for others posting before me - I have worse performance in Monte Carlo than in other locations.
The game also crashes at a certain point of a stage.
Setting "-force -dx11" fixed the issue for me.
The game runs smoothly in general, it's just the Monte Carlo where I was not able to play at all.
