Re: [PC] Stuttering can be removed by entering basic graphic option

@CPXHC Appreciate the info on this one. Will pass it along to the team so that they can test this out on their end. Tried to reproduce it on my end up wasn't getting any stuttering.

Cheers!

same bug, it's present from the first release, the game running at 60fps (fraps or similar indicator) but game running on my eyes at 30fps or similar and stuttering, go to pause enter and exit option grapichs menu, and the game run 60fps correctly... this, EVERY SINGLE STAGE

Hi @CPXHC, its been sent over for them to review. There hasn't been much traffic on this for months. If it is still an issue, we would need to test it out and see what the hiccups are on it.

I read somewhere that if you go into graphics settings and turn VSync off and then come out and then back in to turn it on (on a stage before it starts), then it smooths out the stuttering.

I haven't tried the method in this thread about just going into graphics settings, but it sounds like the game is just not acknowledging VSync until you do something with the menus. If someone over there is still looking into this please consider that VSync in game may be turning off. I tried using NVIDIA's Vsync but that resulted in sub-optimal (i.e. not smooth) performance too.

  • I have a similar problem, sometimes the game runs smoothly, sometimes you can see micro stutters (graphics tearing). Sometimes after restarting the micro stutters disappear

    Gentlemen,

Personally, I've also had similar issues with stuttering and general underwhelming performance. (RTX 3080 + 5800X)

As for the stuttering, for me it became mostly a problem of the past after switching to windowed borderless instead of fullscreen.

No idea if it will work for you guys, but it sure did for me. Also the nvidia shadowplay overlay was working normally again when it wasn't in fullscreen. My guess is that this is related to the anticheat trying to fight it as a false positive. I suspect the anticheat to be mostly responsible for the games stuttering and performance issues...
