Re: WRC Steam Not Launch

I don’t know if this is eelevant but when I connect to racenet it only appears dift 1 and dirt 2.0 and ea wrc is like it was not buyed.

I am trying to help developers.

Maybe... Maybe it runs when no internet connection?

I also own RC 6? 7 8 9 Generations and Dirt 1.0 and 2.0 .. not exactly sure. But a lot of Rallye games BUT most bought on Steam. One WRac I think from Uplay. None from EA direct.

Now I have EA WRC working, but on a different HW. I used the same RX6600XT graphics, I copied the files (steamapps\common\EA SPORTS WRC) from the PC where WRC does not start and on another it works now, so there is no problem in Steam or in the files, but probably somewhere in the Hardware. I will wait to see if the next fix will work on the previous HW and let you know.

Not necessarily Hardware. It could be software as in something is preventing it from launching or its not optimized to run with certain things. 

I don't know. All I know is I tried everything and I can't change hardware and will request refund today. 

I think it’s a hardware question because I installed Windows 11 and windows 10 again and the same result the game don’t works

New patch tomorrow, hope it works. I refunded the game. Let me know if it works for you

Same here. Still not working.

Not working for me either. Was working great until the last patch. Checked files. Re installing makes no difference. This is not good when you pay for a good game.

b uyed one month subscription to ea play in steam and that don´t works. Same error to EA WRC Launch from steam.

I SOLVED IT!!

I have AVX instructions disabled.

Now with all enabled it works!!

AVX instructions are set in your motherboard bios.

It changes how to enable in different motherboards.

I found something online and checked fo4 AVX and apparently my mother board doesn't have it... ☹️

I suggest you that save y7our motherboard settings first and after that load default settings.

If this don´t works you can rreload your moptherboard config.

If you have AMD the instructions calling another name sure.

Has anyone solved this. I just purchased the game on steam and it installed ok but just wont start. button goes blue for 5 seconds then back to green. tried everything. im on a 4090 with a 7800x3d so specs should be fine.
