so to those having this issue this is a bit left of field but since it's apparently unfixed - do you have motherboard manufacturer audio drivers installed? If you do, does anything change from uninstalling them and running drivers from windows update instead?

I only ask because I had a problem like this occur from Assetto Corsa:Competizione , which also uses UE4 engine and it ended up being my audio drivers - also if you use any USB audio devices unplug them.
