"Resetting to track" upon pausing in the middle of an acute hairpin

Event: Hospitality, Volkswagen Polo 2017

Location: Rally Mediterraneo

Stage: I'm sorry but I did not check and right now I'm in the middle of another event... What I can say is that it's the second stage during the WV Polo 2017 Hospitality with event length set to "short".

My car was beat up quite a bit, along with a puncture.

I had to pause the game to look at smth IRL, which led to this: the co-driver wouldn't tell me anymore notes and I'd have a popup saying "Resetting to track in XX" despite me staying on track.

    Ooh this might be a big issue as it it really hard to not cut that corner and this already is my most hated corner (in both directions) in the whole game.

    The same thing happened to me with an acute hairpin in today's moment in Chivilingo, Chile. However I didn't pause in the hairpin, I just drove through it tightly, slightly cutting the corner.

    The video is from a replay so doesn't display the reset message but you can see it resetting at the end of the video.

    I reported this bug in Chile as well, same corner I found. Just that it was on SS1 Bio Bio and near the end after 30 minutes of driving - and stupid as I was, I tried three time (1.5 hours)  just to find out that no matter how you take the corner it will reset.

    Also had this at sharp hairpin Chile. As I ended up well behind stage leader I restarted stage  and then took a wider line second time without issue.  So obviously any slight cutting causes it but as above poster says sharp hairpins are hard to rotate car without slightly cutting
