- @EA_Groguet Worth noting that screen tearing seems to have gotten much worse after Patch 1.4? Performance on PS5 was reasonable from launch (despite complaints from PC users in particular), but the game is borderline unplayable after 1.4. Not only screen tearing, but other bugs (e.g. no dust in replays) have been introduced since 1.4.
Even a regression to version 1.3 would be an improvement in the short term! Screen tearing is also intensified when driving in a custom championship containing more than eight event locations. This week I finished a championship with 10 events. At the 9th event even the menu started to tear apart. A lott of on screen flickering and also the panning around the car at the start was very chopy again like before patch 1.4

We don't handle refunds through here. In the case you want to get refunded you will have to contact Support.

@EA_Groguet I tried again the game yesterday and it was worse than ever.
In Japan I had green patches on the street running in front of me for all the stage, this on top of tearing and low frame rate.
Definitely unusable.
I'm on PS5.
Any update on if and when these issues will be solved would be appreciated.

Ok, it’s clear EA won’t have this patched in 3 days for the next update….hope Codemasters can exit from EA and start over again on dirt 3.0
They should roll back the last "update!" to what was better on PS5 at least. I just purchased an XBox series X and thought i would try the 5 hour trial and it is actually a joy to play on this system just seems to run so much better very very minimal screen tearing... but that is using a game pad and not my sim rig that i should be using on the Ps5. This lack of any info regarding a fix is not good and it makes you wonder if it is not fixable, without causing more issues!! Ok it was only £35 ish to buy but i really wish i hadnt bothered tbh as i have not played it since the last update mess!

What , no new of the biggest bug you have to fix , game is unplayable on PS5 , bug carrer mode is nothing ,we can't play with this suttering , it's the first work you have , you can delete career mode if you want not a problem , i just want play and is impossible , one month I have stop and make wait SRP communauty to relase saison 2 on my championchip because the tearing and suttering big fail on PS5 .
Please say me , ha works on them , it's incredible

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game!! Any stage, any condition, any car, any game mode. Just play the game which you clearly don't before release.
What happens when the bug occurs? Screentearing. FPS drops. Stutter.
What do you expect to see? 60FPS at 4k Smooth gameplay No stutter No screentearing
WRC is advertised as "optimized for Series X/S" and at "4k 60fps" EVEN SAYS THIS ON THE CASE!!
It is not optimized for Series X/S as the framerate wouldn't drop and I wouldn't be getting screentearing and stutter on a 4k 60FPS tv!!!
I should be seeing smooth gameplay at 4k 60FPS.
This is false advertising!!!!
Update!!
Today's patch has helped but their the issue still remains.
Maybe they should try and reduce the settings such as turn mirrors off and defiantly lower the crowd density as the crowd quality is demanding on system resources.
Also why doesn't the game let us lock it at 60fps? The framerate is obvious not locked at 60 in game the game cause I wouldn't be getting screen tear on a 60Hz TV.
Actually enable some of the graphical feature settings in game so we can do your job and fix the game. Once and for all.
Tested yesterday on Sweden and the tearing is almost all gone. What remains for me, on PS5 is a rather low FPS that makes rather tiring to play.
Overall it improved although we are still far from a "next gen" game.
