Steering rotation with soft lock is more direct than reality should be

Product: EA SPORTS™ WRC
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug Steering rotation with soft lock is more direct than reality should be
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just calibrate the wheel on 1080 degrees and enable soft lock
What happens when the bug occurs? The steering rotation is more direct than the reality... Too much aggressive and is not natural if drifting on hairpins
What do you expect to see? A more linear steering rotation with soft lock

I see when I enable the soft lock with the perfect wheel calibration is more direct than reality should be... Below you can see Panizzi onboard with Peugeot 306 maxi kitcar... So is obviously that on EA WRC no need steer the wheel like this to drive on the stages... Less inmersión, less realistic and the most important thing is too aggressive and no help to drifting on hairpins (happen the same with WRC cars)

I'm using CSL DD wheel Base

  • I also have the CSL DD.

I have set the soft lock to 40.

This setting is suitable for me.

    My tip:

Try the soft settings in steps of 10 until it suits you.

I will try this but the soft lock represents the resistance at the end of the steering rack... Is not the issue, in my opinion for example using fiat 131 Abarth has 1080 degrees on real life but driving in game seems 540 degrees... More direct than should be although you have soft lock enabled... Soft lock keep 1080 degrees but steering rotation is not linear is more direct... Maybe I only have this issue but I'm comparing with other sims and for me only exists the issue on EA WRC.

Set soft lock on 40 no affect on steering rotation ratios only affect to resistance I think so
