Stuttering frequently on highest and lowest settings.

Will a shader compilation process be implemented soon? It's the one thing that may have an immediate impact, at least with the shader cache stutters common for most DX12 games that do not have a pre-compilation. Wild to force DX12 and not ship with that sort of thing these days. Oof.

Was really hoping this would be a Lies of P situation where they did the work and the DX12+UE4 combo runs silky smooth, but even when doing a solid 60fps most of the time in WRC, still getting hit with these random harsh frame time spikes which can easily ruin a run:

  • *SOLVED* for now... it was having too many programs in the background trying to use OVERLAYS,

    RAZER being one

  • @bb55am Solved for now, cause was having to many programs in the background with in game overlay enabled causing crashes. RAZER was main culprit i think

    Product: EA SPORTS™ WRC
    Platform:PC
Summarize your bug the game is causing some kind of network traffic causing a stutter every 4 seconds, only drops 1fps but there is a noticeable hitch, its more annoying, nothing to do with new patch as looking at video footage iv done from pre patch, the issue is present.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? use an FPS over lay, limit to 60 fps, start stage and observe, stutter every 4 seconds with a FPS drop of 1.... doesnt sound like much but its annoying ha
What happens when the bug occurs? game has a very minor stutter
What do you expect to see? some kind of fix. I have tried running in offline mode but the stutter remains

screen shot of my network traffic, peaks accompany an in game stutter, but once stage is ended, the stutters stop, doesnt do it in he menus, and network graph flatlines.

more annoyin than anything else, its abit like the SDE in VR, once youve seen it, you cant unsee it hahaha

  • When will the screen tearing problem be resolved? The recent update (EA WRC) has definitely not fixed this problem.

Why do EA think it is acceptable to sell broken games, what is wrong with them??

Does it feel a little bit like E.A. are spending all their time fixing console issues and haven't even began looking at PC issues yet?

I don't know why but it seems the PC community is hated by devs in general. Its the same story every bloody time! Ive been gaming for around 35 yrs and I can tell you the gaming industry is a shadow of its former self.

It is now just a monopoly of greedy, soulless shareholders and execs who only care about the new God (money money). They hardly even make games for the sake of making a great interactive piece of entertainment. Its all gotta be full of the current socially accepted b.s. woke crapola!  Whatever happened to creating something for the sake of the art itself? Not to please friggin minority groups and slack arse losers who cant pull their fingers outta their own buttholes.

Yeah so hurry up with the pc fixes Chodies cause you charged me full price for a broken product. In my country (Australia) you can go to jail for a long time for fraud!

my 'bug' report was moved and buried here. from what i can gather, the stutter im experiencing is due to EA app, when the EA app is closed, the network traffic stops...... it does still stutter when offline, and oddly, my stutter was reduced when changing windows audio settings...
