The rain it feels exaggerated

Im new to this game. Anyway I was playing and Noticed that rain can be VERY exaggerated because I was racing on an asphalt road while it was lightly raining on a sunny day in Spain I think in the middle of nowhere so the road would be very gripy in light rain I now because I live in a very small town where nobody drives on our roads so they are very gripy in very heavy rain but in. middle of nowhere Spain I was spinning out horribly I would be going 30Mph around 5 or 6 turn that i should be able to go like 50 or more around and suddenly be facing the other direction.

Now mabey I'm wrong but I feel like that shouldn't have happened.
