Thank you for the update. Please keep us up to date on the progress of this. I have tried many of the suggested fixes on the forum and elsewhere and nothing works. It is clear that EA Anticheat is where the problem lies. Watching task manager the WRC application never launches, EA Anticheat closes. I am also getting the application error log:

This seems a relatively widespread issue and is impacting additional players since the 2.1 update.
So i just did a complete reinstallation of my Windows 10, without keeping any files, and i have the same issue. I just installed EA App and EA SPORTS WRC.
I think all the workaround suggested are probably worthless, don't lose your time. The launcher is just broken...
I'm open if you need any informations about my setup, specs or anything else.
Funnily enough, it still worked for me after the update without any problems. Only after I bought the DLC did it stop working without loading any more files. My buddy who logged in with his computer using my account didn't work either. As soon as he started it via his account, it worked perfectly. I can't get rid of the feeling that it's some kind of license problem
