I have some good news for you!
After investigating the issue, our team has found a solution and pushed it live on EA app. I am thrilled that some of you are confirming you can play again!
Meanwhile, similar issues on Steam continue to be investigated.
In order to help our team, could you try to boot the game in another machine with the same Steam account and see if this keeps happening?

I'm not very keen on making VR api layers modifications as I can read above when I see your message. I've just started the game and surprise it worked.
Thank you for fixing this issue quite quickly.
