I have exactly the same issue as the OP; WRC 2024 2.1.0 crashes back to the EA app on high spec W11 machine.
Just - today - downloaded and installed EA App and WRC 2024 on a brand new machine and surprise, surprise, exactly the same behaviour.
This is 3 whole weeks after the issue was reported, @EA_Groguet why is there no fix?
After dealing with this issue for a couple of days, I was finally able to get this to work on Steam.
I also finally found some proper steps to walk me through getting it all done. It involved backtooling/removing the KB5045594 Windows System Update.
I found these steps in the Steam Community Discussions, shared by user 'NicksSkillz', which solved the problem for me:

After rebooting my PC, the game was able to get beyond the EA Sports splash screen and load up as normal. I've yet to play and notice any issues, but I'll update here if I do catch anything.
