Updated windows today with KB5045594 and the game won’t start anymore. I’m on PC and play via Steam.

Did work properly last time I played (last week), now it loads the WRC logo screen and then crashes to desktop.

any ideas how to solve? WRC is on newest version with Update Packs installed and it already run properly!

It is rather simple..... deinstall the specified Windows Update. Immediately works again (on my side at least)

@ssubwoooferr Not that easy considering some (me included) don't have this windows update and still can't launch the game despite testing any "fix" proposed.

(I've had (before refund) the same issue on f124 and now have this on bf1 too so it's something related to EA sh...y anticheat)
