Bought the game today on Steam. Bought from Steam. Game installed. I click on start game on steam. The green button turns blue for 5-8secondds then it goes back to start. It's like the game launches for a split second them closes. I checked task manager and there is nothing running. I restarted and try to run as administrator but still the same

Hi. I have this problem with the game.When i start up WRC is starts up normally and then when the cutscene after the EA Login comes. My pc turns off. Any reason why?

@5v0e82akc4tnI try this a lot of times and never works,Remember;1 - I do everything what they say in first page of this thread.2 - I reinstalled all a lot of times.3 - I installed windows 11 again with only steam.4 - I installed windows 10 again with only steam.5 - I installed directx, ms visual C all version, one that comes with content and this you are posting here.6 - I try to download a demo 5 hours with ea app and again don´t work.Anything of this worked for me.I don´t know what to do.Nothing of this worked for me

i found a fix to this issue underneath the steam page on the game saying to delete windows update KB5045594 it worked for me game innstantly opened although it took a minute to load in to delete the update go into windows settings and go Update and Security. click on windows updates then look for "View update History" click on it and at the top it should say "Uninstall update" click on this it should open a new app at the top right it should say search for update click on it and copy and paste KB5045594 than uninstall this restart your pc and it should work

Thanks for the response but its not launching.

I have the game on STEAM. Its not launching at all. maybe for 10 seconds then close, i don't see anything on the screen. I was able to see that it appeared on the task manager for a second then disappears.

I installed it on my BAD work laptop and it launched! but my PC tower is not even launching it! I don't understand and I used the same steam account. why is it not launching? is there a crash report that i can provide you to look into?

My PC runs every single game, even sometimes not great but it runs at least.

here is my pc spec.

Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 950 @ 3.07GHz 3.07 GHz
Ram : 38.0 GB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

Same problem like you.
For me it’s the same.
I am at Spain, I have the game on steam, I verified all game files with steam.
When I click the game start button it apoears to start but after 5 seconds it returns to press play to start.
Dont know what to do.
can you help me? I dont see nothing, the game never runs.

I updated gpu driver to 23.11.1 and dont work.
