(always) However, lagging and stuttering can be removed by simply entering "basic graphic option menu" and coming back to game even without any setup changes. Can confirm it is still a massive issue, if its not getting fixed... can anybody on the team PLEASE tell me anyway I can, at the very least, bypass the problem? If you are on PC, and prefer the game to "tear" rather than stutter, use RTSS to limit the framerate... Instead of messing the vsync, the screen will just tear on some sections whilst maintaining the set framerate... Somewhat smoothly. Given that your CPU/GPU combo can handle your settings.And remember... "Don't cut."Edit: Not really actually, just tested it today, and even with the framecap it will start stuttering at beginning of most stages... Vsync on/off fixes it temporarily, but might start again ramdomly mid-stage. Which is unfathomably disapointing...If this isn't fixed or at the very least acknowledged, it will probably be a farewell to the series for me.

Im on the same boat, tried everything too...I manage to make it run sometimes at a smooth 60fps, with control panel vsync, with adaptive sync, scanline sync, with framecaps, combination of both, all settings, multiple drivers, in-game vsync, upscaling, downscaling, DSR, INI files parameters, alt-tabbing, windows firewall... THE WHOLE ENCHILADA!!!Any of them might fix it temporarily, but then the game just does something that messes the frampacing up, no idea what. Wish they could at the very least tell me whats wrong, at this point I might even try to reverse engineer it... lolNo common denominator either, the same stage with same settings, same conditions, might run perfect, start stuttering mid-stage, or straight up not work independent of what I do.I've been playing codemasters games since the the first DiRT and GRID, i've grown a dependency on hoppin in and just going flat out for a couple hours... Without having to become a programmer to be able to do so!They've been a huge part of my life honestly, always loved them, but all I can get from this one is frustration...Obs.: ACC does run on the same engine, UE4, If they managed to make it work theres probably a way straighten this one up...

@CPXHC Appreciate the info on this one. Will pass it along to the team so that they can test this out on their end. Tried to reproduce it on my end up wasn't getting any stuttering.

Hi @CPXHC, its been sent over for them to review. There hasn't been much traffic on this for months. If it is still an issue, we would need to test it out and see what the hiccups are on it.

yep, iv been having to do this for a long time now, didnt even cross my mind to do a bug report for some reason. I initially thought it was an AF thing as id changed the value and things went smooth but soon realised that just entering the basic graphics option and back to game was the fix....

I meant to update this one. I sent it over to the team and they are tracking it again. I let them know its been a while and players had issues still, so it is now on their radar again!

I am running the game at 75Hz and have the same problem with V-sync ON. When entering the lobby screen everything is buttery smooth but when I enter the garage with the car before the stage begins things start to get choppy when I pan the camera with my xbox pad although the frame counter shows 75fps all the time. Entering BASIC GRAPHICS menu and turning V-sync off and on again fixes the problem. But I have to do it all the time the stage starts. I'm on Windows 11, RTX 3070, V-sync set to application preference or forced on in the drivers. Please fix it ASAP.

the funny thing is that when you go to rally school the game runs smooth the gpu usage raises and has many more fps

Just bought the game and still have this issue too. I have to enter basic graphics and exit to make fps go UP. It's hard to play online because I can enter the menu only after start and loose a lot of time.
